Program: Music (instruments), voice

The entrance examination has several functions:
1.study dispositions, talent - instrument playing or singing
2.music theory knowledge, ear-training skills, rhythm
3.dispositions for the second instrument or vocal training

(students start with the second instrument the 1st year of conservatory studies)

Music (instruments):

one major and one minor scale and arpeggios, two etudes of contrasting character, one composition of the highest level of applicant’s technical abilities and interpretational skills

Voice:

two contrasting songs (folk, others), one composed song of the highest level of applicant’s technical abilities and interpretational skills

Theory:

oral examination in scales, intervals, intonation, rhythm, musical terms, chords, ear-training test, orientation in the history of classical music in Europe
Note: Applicants should submit a brief CV and certificate copy of previous education with their application form and send it till 30th of November. Examinations are held usually in January. Foreign students can ask for other term possibility. For persons interested in courses it is possible to send dvd or audio recording of their instrument playing or singing.

Program: Piano tuning

The entrance examination has several functions: 1.study dispositions and talent – ear-training skills, manual dispositions 2.elementary knowledge of musical theory

Ear-training skills and musical theory:

repeat intonation of heard tones, intervals and melodies name the heard intervals, chords repeat the heard rhythm major scales knowledge form the intervals and chords form the tones done Manual dispositions

Workshop skills and work with tools
